OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Our inpatient occupational therapy services focus on the upper half of the body – hands, wrists, shoulders, and elbows. We specialize in orthopedic disorders of the hand and upper extremities, with a special interest in neurological disorders. Our expertly trained staff provides ADL (activities of daily living) training to empower our clients so they can get back to their daily routines, giving them the confidence to complete every-day tasks such as dressing, self-feeding, bathing, laundry, and meal preparation.
SPEECH THERAPY
Our inpatient speech therapy services are spearheaded by Speech Language Pathologists, experts in treating clients with swallowing and speech disorders. Our clients include existing Weinberg Campus residents as well as patients who are referred to us from nearby hospitals. Our team works with the patients and their families to work towards their goals to the safest extent possible. We take pride in our collaborative approach to recovery, consulting with all team members to ensure the best care possible for our patients.

Our short-stay inpatient therapy provides full-time medical coverage, with 24/7 nursing care available. You can even access onsite dental, podiatry, optical and audiology services while you’re here.
When your visit is over, you can continue to see us! We offer outpatient physical therapy if you need it, which includes access to our state-of-the-art indoor, heated therapy pool. We also offer home care therapy services—we come to you!

What to Expect from Short-Term Inpatient Physical Therapy
When you leave the hospital after a surgery, illness or accident, you may not be able to go directly home. You may need additional care to help you heal properly — so that you can return home again.
While some hospitals offer their own short-term inpatient physical therapy, Weinberg Campus provides a relaxing, homelike environment that’s conducive to your recovery. The right treatment center can mean the difference between maintaining or losing your independence and your current lifestyle.
In our inpatient physical therapy center, you’ll receive customized therapy to help you recover. Depending on your situation, you may need a program for as little as a couple of days or as long as several weeks. Working closely together, we’ll work to help you regain your functional capacity and get back to your home — and your life — in the shortest time possible.
You may receive physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy from our compassionate, highly skilled therapists. We’ll help keep you on track throughout your stay. Most patients perform therapy activities at least five days a week.
To ensure a smooth transition to your home, we can assist you with setting up home care, outpatient physical therapy, or follow up services.
